: I was in an affair with a married woman that I work with, I am the company owner, I am married as well.  My secretary and I had an affair for nearly two years and the whole time it was a mutual thing until I got fed up with the sneeking around and called it off.  The secretary has not filed a claim yet but has claimed unemployment bennifits based upon harrassment.  This was a consentual relationship both of our respective spouses know now, what can I do to protect myself?  It appears that in the worlds eyes that it is her word against mine and the man is always guilty. She quit her job one day because I sent her home early, she was being such an ass, yelling at me calling me a worthless B##@, how could I choose my wife over her, blah blah blah.  I am sure if you are reading this you know the scenario.  Please help
