Sexual harasement has gone to far

As of today I was terrminated or forced to resign as an employee of the Oregon Dept of
Forestry as a wildland firefighter because I basically looked up at the wrong time. Heck,
it wasn't even that. I was out fighting a fire yesterday when a girl and a guy came up to me
and started B.S.ing. Well i had already had problems with them not working before and this
was just another case of laziness. During a discussion someone mentioned something about
active flame occuring during the mop up stages of a fire. I looked up to see this individual
slumped over the shovel looking at the small flame and then turned around to face us.
The person waited for a few minutes looking at us for support or something and then went off
and did their own thing. During this brief pause i shook my head and laughed at the quality
of people we hire and put my head down and went back to work. The next day i was called into
the office and was told about sexual harasement charges brought up against me saying that i was
staring at this persons butt and then pointed and made some comments to those around myself.
All of these statements are faulse but they gave me an alternative, be fired or resign without this
on my record. I resigned but i feel that i was dismessed under faulse statements. How do i fight
this and what can i do to clear my name of these false accusations?

Sincerely
JP
