I would like some independent input. I was part of a remembrance for the race car driver Tim Richmond, who passed away on August 13, 1989.

A reporter at the Orlando Sentinel wrote a series that can be found at

I have questions as to the factuality of several of the issues presented as facts in these series, however, what bothers me most is what appears to be a portraying of Tim Richmond demonizing AIDS and a corresponding portrayal of women in less that terms of equality. Are there not bodies of law regarding discrimination that developed out of these very portrayals? Why is the press allowed to do this?
