: This is a long story but I hope that I explain it well enough and someone can tell me if i have any rights.

: I have been working for a company that had two head chiefs. One owned 51% and the other owned 49%. Then the one owning 51% gave control to the one owned 49% thinking it was a good business decision for he needed to spend some time with his family.
: As soon as he did he was locked out of the building.

: OK..now the new owner took the power and ran with it. Anyone that liked the old owner has been dismissed. Now one ever told me I could not talk with the old owner.

: Now is where I come into play. Our phones are tapped, our emails are forwarded. The they have not ever told us or the people calling into the office that they are tapped.

: I liked the old owner and I do work for him in the evenings at home. I had a lunch meeting on a Thursday and by Monday morning my supervisor was called into the new owners office and was told about my meeting. From here on out it was impossible for me to do anything right. The company has been getting worst and worst. There was 80+ employees when the hands changed and now they are down to 30+ employees. No one has ever been able to get unemployeement out of them. If you gave your two week notice you were automatically escorted out.

: I was fired because they said I was hostile to fellow employees. examples given: I was followed after leaving work during my lunch hour. Now that person that followed me said that I flipped her off. Her word against mine. And I didn't do it. The only other example that was given under this was that I was hostile to another employee. This employee is the son of a high ranking in the company. He came and was talking about a computer game that he wanted to purchase and I told him I didn't have time.

: There second reason was they said I said slanderous remarks against the company about them going out of business. I was trying to encourage another employee *and this again was off property at a walmart* not to quit that it had to get better or worst it could not stay like this. And if she quit that they would not pay her unemployeement. If it got worst it would probably shut its doors and they would have to pay then. Again it is a she said he said situation.

: The third reason was they said that I was doing unauthorized work on the property on their time clock. They have no actual evidence. I did do the work at home, but I had a copy on my computer at work which they managed to thumb through at night time. And it was for the owner that owns 49% of the company.

: Is this grounds for dismissal? Should I pursue this or just go on my merry way?
: Your time is appriecated!!
