How long does a police officer have to file charges on someone? If someone is told they are being arrested for disorderly conduct and are never arrainged and then they read in the paper 37 days later that they were charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief and never got an affidavid of what he was charged with and was never told to go to the police station to be processed or even taken to the station he was let go at the scene.
