Hello Dennis:
Do you have any witnesses to her sexual advances towards you, and if you do, would they be willing to back you up? Remember that your coworkers are not your friends. Any investigation should have started immediately with several interviews of any possible witnesses no matter how insignificant they may be. They might have heard or seen something. Don't give anyone time to get together with other coworkers and think about what they are going to say. Document everything...things she said to you when she was coming on to you. If she called you, do you have any recording of her? What did she say in her statement against you? Not all behavior is sexual harassment, and in most cases the harassment must be pervasive. Right now it is your word against hers. Make sure that your boss hears you out, and that he/she doesn't falsely accuse you of harassment if you are innocent.
E-mail me if you wish and I can send you some links that may be helpful. I was falsely accused of sexual harassment by my employer because I was being harassed at work, and he sexually assaulted me at work and told on the harasser. He denied everything and basically said it was my fault. He said we were "joking." I didn't ask him to harass me nor to invade my personal space. I continuously told him to stop. They chose to believe him, and I was terminated a week after I filed my complaint. They never investigated nor did they question anyone. I am suing for Wrongful Termination and Retaliatory Discharge. Good luck!
Sammie
PS They didn't want to deal with the problem so they chose to sweep it under the carpet.
