I have worked for Target for 15 years. Recently (JUNE) I quit because of personal reasons. Before that the store was having problems with management, they would call us low lifes and that we werent worth anything, then one of the managers pushed a bunch of shopping carts into me and ran over my foot. Well that was the last straw for me, so I called the head of the personal management team. I explained the whole situation to her, she assured me that if would be taken care of. When she came to the store, she told the store manager to page me ( right then they knew I was the one who reported them) They are supposed to have an open door policy and to keep things under the QT. She then called a store meeting, all (or most ) the employees told her the terrible way the magagers treat the employees, well things got a little better. Then I had to quit I turned in my 2 week notice and I have a rehire form. I went back there last week and the manager (who ran over my foot) and called us low lifes told me that he wont take me back cause of the trouble I have caused him. Now my question is If this wasnt suposed to be made known to the manager how did he know it was me? Also before I went back there I called the head of personal ( the one whom I had complained to) and she said that if she were him she wouldnt take me back either, "because of our history" so that tells me she told him that it was me who reported him. Weere my civil rights violated and isnt this discrimation? Also I am 51 years old and a white female. thank you for your time.
