discrimination at school because of financial status

: i have 2 girls in high school. they were pertisapateing in band. the director kicks them out because i can not pay all the dues at one time. she has even made fun of them and encouraged the othe band students to do so. my kids are really hurt. being in the band was something they really loved doing and it gave them a little self confidence. can anyone tell me what i need to do.
