sexual harrassment at work...

: I am a manager (female) and the company I work for transfered a male employee to my store several months ago. I have spent the last month looking over my shoulder, listening to crude comments and gestures and now I had to have him fired for touching me. Several times this was witnessed by other male employees and nothing was done.  Now that he is gone, they have been telling me horror stories, of his past, that was the reason he was transferred. It was never proven, but still the higher up bosses knew this and subjected me to this....do I have a case to sue them?  They knew and did nothing about this untill I pressed charges....Should I persue this or not???  Help
