Re: falsely accused of sexual harrasment at work

: : I have been accused of sexual harrasment at work. About a month ago one of my workers that was at the time and still is on Family Medical Leave Act for her mental unstabilty she is having a lot of problems with her son. She came into the Human Resources office and filed sexual harrasment charges on my stating that she had discussed this with her therapist and she was told to come in and file a complaint. She said that I was telling her that I was in love with her and followed her around the plant everywhere. Here it is a month later and there are 3 other ladies that are coming forward as witnesses one of which there were rumours floating around about her and I having an affair last summer these were just rumours and I talked to my superior about it at the time and he chose not to do anything with it and let it blow over. Now apparently she has also file sexual harrasment complaint on me. This is a huge mess I have not done anything to any of these ladies and happen to be their supervisor. One of the complaints was that I was hugging and kissing them in the plant. This is all I have been told and was suspended without pay until further investigation. I was suspended on Tuesday and they were supposed to call me on Wednesday and let me know if I could come back to work or if I no longer had a job. This is not the first time this has happened to other men in my position at work it has happened several other times usally when there is management change that these girls do not like I have seen them do it to others but nothing has ever came of it until now, now Human Resources is taking this seriously..HELP...I'm married and have 4 childern and stand to loose everything what can I do to protect myself, my family and my job.
